"Looking at various means of developing compassion, I think empathy is an important factor: the ability to appreciate others' suffering."

Here is a glance about my work in TD at LIU and some of my personal thoughts.
The most
important thing that we should work on in ourselves is our heart. As Allah
mentioned in the Holy Quran “Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free
(from evil)” will enter paradise and live the eternal happiness.
And we will
also live in paradise in this world if we make sure to reconcile our hearts and
fill them with tenderness and kindness. Just then, we will speak nice words, do
gentle actions and think in a positive way.
Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) says: “Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it
becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the
whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.”
I’ve always called myself adventurous but now I have a better name for it which is “courageous”. I love to jump over my fears or to say it in a better way “to face them with sharp looks and walk through them”.
And now when I look back at the past several years, I feel grateful for being courageous in many situations because I’ve gone so far from my fears and come too close to my dreams.
For example, I used to fear being active on social media even though I like to share my thoughts with people and learn new things. So, I faced this fear and made my account public, shared stories on everyday basis, and followed strange people. As a result, I heard criticism from my siblings such as “you are being silly with these posts you share” or “you are being annoying with sharing many stories everyday”. But I didn't care because, deep inside, I was feeling happier and moving nearer to my personality (my essence).
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
